Colorado parks and wildlife is a nationally recognized leader in conservation outdoor recreation and wildlife management. If you made a reservation under the previous reservation system for an arrival date after december 3 2019 you do not need to. Please note some cabins and guest houses must be reserved directly through the park. The 3 day reservation window does not apply at this park.

Memorial day through labor day is the peak season. Campsite reservations may be made by calling 1 800 244 5613 or by reserving online. Customer profiles from the previous system were not transitioned to this new system. Sites are available for reservation 24 7. The agency manages 42 state parks all of colorado s wildlife more than 300 state wildlife areas and a host of recreational programs. Reservations are highly recommended during this time as the campgrounds tend to be full on the weekends. Occupation of a site without a reservation will not be permitted. Self service camping permits will no longer be valid. Details are provided on individual park pages for these exceptions.
