It requires quite a few different materials to build a composite wing though the end product is only composed of. The internal structures of most wings are made up of spars and stringers running spanwise and ribs and formers or bulkheads running chordwise leading edge to trailing edge. This design is going to have a v tail so the elevator has no hinge. Also most of my ep foam planes i use c f tow and fiberglass on the leading edge of the wing then smooth it down with wax paper.

If the tube or rod won t fit the contour i use carbon fiber tow layed into a slot then wetted out with 30 or better yet 60 minute epoxy. Carbon fiber is not only stronger than the balsa wood and plastic used in other model airplanes but is also light and flexible.

While the use of carbon fibre has allowed the creation of sweeping wing tips which can cut fuel consumption by up to 5 both aircraft are still fairly conventionally shaped.
