I ve used the indoor variety and found that it just falls peels off way too quickly.
The downside of using htv is that sometimes the adhesive can leak around the edges of the decal.
Apply the 651 vinyl as usual and then with a teflon sheet between your project and iron iron the decal for 10 15 seconds.
You can totally use peel and stick vinyl on wood but i d recommend using the outdoor quality.
When you wipe them down even with simple water and soap you can leave long streaks which are easily noticeable.
